A Meaningful Evening of Dialogue and Solidarity
The Discussion on Future Opportunities and
Challenges for Youth Development & Iftar Meetup, organized by Youth
Leadership and Climate Action (YLCA) on 12 March 2026, was successfully
held with the participation of 20 young leaders representing 10 youth
organizations.
The session created a vibrant space for
sharing experiences, reflections, and ideas about the changing landscape of
youth development. Participants discussed the evolving challenges faced by
youth organizations, including sustainability, engagement, and long-term
impact.
One important insight from the discussion was
the potential of a Sustainable Youth Enterprise Approach as a promising pathway
for youth organizations to maintain continuous and impactful initiatives, while
creating opportunities for youth-led innovation and community development.
The evening concluded with a warm Iftar
meetup, where participants broke their fast together, strengthening bonds of
friendship, collaboration, and shared commitment to youth-led change.
